Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory and Operations Supervisor is vital to our Warehouse Operations team, focusing on accurate inventory control and efficient warehouse management. You will oversee detailed inventory counts, upholding 5S and CIP standards, implementing pest control, and managing inventory data. Additionally, you will oversees casual labor for loading/unloading, ensures FIFO/FEFO distribution to farmers, collaborates on scheduling for cost efficiency, and tracks warranty issues. Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, you will help enhance operations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction with the Warehouse Operations and services

Top Skills and Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role within a logistics or manufacturing environment. Experience should include direct responsibility for physical inventory counts, warehouse organization, and inventory distribution.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Skills in data analysis to track inventory levels, discrepancies, and to produce accurate reconciliation reports.
- Familiarity with 5S, Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP), and pest control management for seed or similar inventories is required.
Soft Skills:
- Team collaboration skills, with the ability to work individual and part of a team.
- Critical thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Physical Requirements: The role may require physical activities such as walking and standing for long periods. Therefore, physical fitness is necessary for conducting physical inventory counts and overseeing warehouse operations.
Language requirement: English and Kinyarwanda required.
