We are looking for a well-rounded IT person with 1+ years of experience in end-user support specifically laptop hardware, software and networks troubleshooting. You will work with over 200 devices across our 4 offices. You will report to the Growth Countries ITO Lead. You will be based in Muramvya and travel to regional offices to provide support to the wider team.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Endpoints Lifecycle Management - Laptops, Tablets.
- You will ensure that:
- New endpoints (Laptops and Tablets) meet our defined pre-check standards.
- Endpoints (laptops and tablets) are functioning and fit for purpose during their life cycle.
- Periodic maintenance, replacement and disposal of Endpoints (laptops and tablets) are done.
- Periodic checks and updates on the health status of Endpoints (laptops and tablets) are done.
- Technical Support. You will:
- Resolve tier 2 tickets within defined Service level agreements (SLAs) for Endpoints (laptops and tablets) and Software troubleshooting.
- Provide tier 1 Network support for Network devices including the configuration of Access Points and Routers.
- Carry out regular Operating System maintenance, software updates, and hardware support for One Acre Fund Laptops.
- Configure and test tablet applications.
- Engage with non-technical partners to conduct IT-related training.
- Initiate and participate in technical projects.
- Facilities & Power Management
- Identify the device power needs for ITO devices.
- Liaise with infrastructure technicians/electrical engineers to determine power rate recommendations
Top Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in IT user support, software, computer hardware and network support.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or any related course.
- Experience working with Windows and Android hardware and software.
- Data reporting and inventory management skills.
- Experience working with Routers, Access Points and computer networks.
- Project management skills required.
- You will need to speak and write English.
