The Role

Addepar is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to lead our demand generation and digital marketing efforts. Reporting to the Head of Communications, Brand & Marketing, you’ll work hand in hand with business development, sales and client services teams to validate your strategies and scale high-impact programs; if it drives demand, it’s on the table. You find success in creating real sales opportunities and when your work directly impacts pipeline growth.

As a strategic problem solver, you see the connection in every touchpoint in the client journey and you know how to orchestrate multi-channel, multi-touch campaigns. You’ll educate the broader organization on what works and most importantly, why it works. Client-centric to the core, you enjoy meeting our clients and prospects where they are, and engaging with them through conversations online and in person. You are collaborative and thrive in building forward-thinking, hard-working teams. You are flexible and humble and can solve any problem through ingenuity, compassion and professionalism. You'll have an outsized impact on the total marketing organization in furthering individual capabilities and total team bench strength.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be
determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $140,000 - $263,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the demand generation team and create the strategy, plan and complete multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns that span the full funnel.
  • Design experiences that span across mediums such as events, ads, personalized landing pages, direct mail and outbound email campaigns.
  • Develop email nurture and re-engagement programs to drive responses and push qualified leads further down the funnel for conversion, including cross-sell and up-sell and loyalty marketing.
  • Develop and drive the growth marketing priorities, strategies, goals, objectives and tactics to reach sales and quarterly goals
  • Stay on top of industry trends, making recommendations and launching new channels and campaigns where appropriate; discover innovative ways to reach and activate prospects, always testing new playbooks.
  • Leverage cross-channel insights to refine strategies that generate higher-quality qualified leads and sales accepted opportunities.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, with at least four in B2B. Expert-level knowledge of how to use web, paid advertising, ABM, conversion optimization, nurture, and more as part of a comprehensive growth strategy.
  • Experience establishing teams that consistently hit high-reaching targets while fostering a high-performance culture that attracts and cultivates top talent.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an appetite to dive into the weeds with your team and pick up on the seemingly small, yet important, details.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (preferably Marketo) and SFDC
  • Inquisitive and innovative. “Test and learn” mentality and a hunger to demonstrate the latest technology and methods to drive growth.
  • An influential leader able to drive collaboration with essential team members to deliver outstanding business results
  • Ability to diagnose issues in the sales process and prescribe data-driven solutions for improvement.
  • Bias towards action, and a "no-silos" policy; able to align groups on a clear strategic direction even without ownership over all the components.
  • Data-obsessed and constantly experimenting and optimizing performance across channels to drive efficiency and revenue.

Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions.
