AccuWeather For Business (AFB) is growing and delivering best-in-the-world services to its commercial clients. The Vice President of Enterprise Sales is responsible for leading the AFB sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Work continuously with the SVP Enterprise Businesses and GM of AccuWeather for Business on strategic initiatives related to AFB.
  • Leadership across sales and marketing to align service offering with lead generation and product positioning.
  • Utilize business analytics and forward-thinking technological resources to improve sales performance, identify areas of growth, and assist in the professional development of AFB Sales Team Members.
  • Support the team in identifying, closing, and maintaining strategic business relationships.
  • Follow up and engage with new partners to ensure their expectations are met and we have done all we can to put their needs first.
  • Collaborate with operational and product department teams on improvements to current service offering and opportunities for innovation.
  • Maintain business process guidelines that maximize efficiencies across all AFB departments.
  • Other duties as assigned or as become evident.

Job Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with proven experience growing sales teams and driving revenue while meeting business objectives.
  • Ability to mentor and lead the existing and new sales professionals on the sales team so that they can succeed.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Significant experience selling services in consulting, data delivery, or related – Data subscription and SaaS selling focus preferred
  • Proven ability to partner with the marketing organization to maximize lead generation and conversion of leads into sales.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and technical concepts at all levels of the organization
  • Experience developing and executing tactical sales plans with high success, exceeding quotas, and account objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand competitive technology, and to continuously convey market signals regarding products and value proposition to the product management team
  • Leverage business analytics to create dynamic reporting that highlights current and projected sales horizons
  • Collaborative approach to management, focused on blending perspectives from various business groups to deliver a message that is focused on the best interest of AFB and their partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
