Summary of what this role will do:

The Maintenance Technician will be a key part of maintaining our production equipment,  associated equipment, and facilities. . This position will perform preventative and corrective maintenance functions.



Responsibilities:

  • Corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment 
  • Tooling setups
  • Processing and troubleshooting equipment
  • Preventive Maintenance on all equipment based on PM schedule
  • Document all repairs, complete work orders
  • Basic facilities repairs and improvements.
  • Any other task assigned by Maintenance Manager or Production Supervisor(s)



Qualifications: 

Experience: 2+ years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Location: Camarillo, CA

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience working with, maintaining, installing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems
  • Intermediate troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with tooling setups and maintenance
  • Prior experience with preventative maintenance of production equipment
  • Use basic hand and power tools for the repair, installation or maintenance of equipment.
  • Able to work in a team or independently with occasional support from other team members 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, Lock Out/Tag Out), electrical, ARC Flash, confined space, fall protection, etc.)
  • Forklift, scissor-lift, and aerial lift experience (certification preferred)

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Lift 50 pounds by pulling, bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms; twist, turn and bend
  • Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.
  • Work at heights and wear appropriate fall equipment.
  • Use basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders, etc.
