Job Overview:
Zūm is looking for a high-energy, and driven Account Executive whose role would be to hunt for new business by pitching and closing deals with public/private schools, and onboarding the school to book revenue. Zūm offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be empowered to sell our service and be set up for success. Job Responsibilities:
  • As part of the sales team, you will be expected to reach out and sell our app based service to a list of public and private schools
  • Manage complete sales cycle from cold call to close
  • Forecast sales and revenue achievement on a monthly basis
  • Convey the benefits of Zūm to prospects by phone and online demonstrations
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share it with the rest of the team and management
Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years of quota carrying B2B inside sales experience
  • Track record of success selling to mid-market and SMB companies
  • Ability to manage, track and report a sales pipeline
  • Experience closing complex sales cycles in a consultative manner with C/VP level executives
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes
  • Prior experience working within the education/school vertical is a big plus, but not a requirement
  • Prior experience using a CRM system (salesforce, goldmine, ACT etc.)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Strong professional references
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • 4-year college degree
  • Ability to have a huge impact at an early-stage, mission-driven startup
