We're looking for an experienced Sales Engineering Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Engineering Director, you'll lead our sales engineering organization. You will lead our existing sales engineers and help us grow and strengthen the team. You will align with Area Sales Directors, product management, and engineering to help close deals and build strategic solutions for customers and partners. We need a Sales Engineering Manager with a track record growing a sales engineering organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or systems engineering with at least 5 years managing and directing a sales engineering team.
- Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies.
- Excellent project management skills.
- You will travel frequently.
- Remote friendly in Illinois
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience recruiting, developing a sales engineering team.
- Have experience in sales engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification and proof-of-concept.
- Developed solution and customer proposals.
- Developed and deliver product and solution demonstrations.
- Worked with sales leadership and clients to design and present business solutions to increase client revenue growth.
- Guided the development of account plans for larger clients.
- Provided advice and support response to requests for proposals (RFPs), i.e. present recommendations and associated benefits to clients.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
