Job Description – Assistant Manager - Tax
Primary responsibilities:
- Providing support in undertaking corporate income tax (direct & indirect) compliances for Zscaler Softech India Private Limited
- Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax, TDS and GST calculations
- Calculation of advance/estimated tax liabilities and ensuring timely payments of the same
- Ensuring accurate, timely filing of income tax, TDS and indirect tax returns
- Preparation and/or review of monthly income tax and indirect tax reconciliations
- Preparation and/or review of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting tool
- Undertaking of research on complex tax issues arising in India
- Maintenance of records of all tax filings and payments
- Prepare various ad hoc reports required to support the tax calculations

- Must be a "self-starter" with a can-do attitude and a serious desire to have a positive impact on our company
Educational background and experience
- Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience in tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances/tax returns at a multinational organization
- Chartered Accountant qualified in year 2018 or 2019 would be preferred
- Good knowledge of tax accounting and tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances
- Experience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English (speaking & writing)
