Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Over 10 to 15 years of software engineering experience, of which 7+ years in developing secure systems or controls or SecOps
- 7+ years system design & architecture experience – new product, innovation and/or maintenance
- Experience in Web Security, Secure Architecture Reviews/ Code Reviews.
- Experience in Pen Testing, CI/CD, Cloud technologies, Vulnerability assessments, OS, etc.
- Exceptional cross-functional and multi-domain practical aptitude
- Concurrent cybersecurity and engineering depth and breadth subject matter expertise
- Subject matter expertise of secure software development lifecycle, practices and activities
- Subject matter expertise of design principles and architecture level security concepts
- Exceptional communication, mentorship and leadership skills supporting innovation and strategies
Skills:
- Hands on experience with Linux, Unix and MacOs systems
- Experience in 2 or more programming languages (C/C++, java, Python, .NET, C#), Shell scripting,
- Experience with Networking and Infrastructure domain
- Experience with Cloud Security, Thick Client, Mobile and Web application architectures
- Should be able to review a detailed application and infrastructure architectures from a security perspective and provide recommendations to Engg / product teams
- Experience with Threat Modeling & Secure architecture reviews
- Should be able to get into customer calls and this role expects the candidate to be well versed with customer interactions on secure architecture, vulnerability discussion, CVE Ids and related security aspects
- This is a hands-on and technical role
