Mobile Networking Automation Engineer - Linux
Location:
- Understand requirements, develop test plans, execute manual and automated test cases
- Design and implement changes to existing automation suites
- Recreate complex customer reported issues
- Work closely with the Development, Product Management teams
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies and processes
- Deliver a high-quality robust product in a fast-paced environment
Required skills
- Graduate or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer in a networking and security environment
- Solid experience in developing automation tests using python
- Must have experience in testing and automation of networking related applications for Linux/Unix Operating Systems
- Strong understanding of networking concepts at all layers ( ICMP/UDP/TCP/IP, L3 to L7 )
- Certifications such as CCNA is a plus
- Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN clients is a plus.
- Solid understanding of test case management and defect management
- Demonstrate good debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience setting up testbeds in a Virtualization environment is desirable.
- Self-starter, takes initiative & ownership, identifies and completes tasks, goal driven
- Ability to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
