Join Zip’s growing Data, Analytics & AI squad where you will partner with key stakeholders to supply fast, reliable and future-proof data, powering data-driven decision making on our biggest and most interesting business challenges.

As a Senior Analyst focussing on Data Management in our Data, Analytics and AI team, you will own the implementation of Zip’s Data Management Framework in ANZ to improve the way we manage and use data at Zip.

  • Continuously improve our data management policies, standards and procedures to promote data access, quality and analytical capability.
  • Support the embedment of data management capabilities, including metadata management, data quality and master & reference data processes and solutions.
  • Effectively balance data governance with a bias for action so as not to slow down organisational growth, but enable Zip to grow safely.

  • At least 3 years experience, working in a role which was dedicated to data governance, in a mid to large sized business.
  • Ability to work autonomously, supporting business and technical teams in implementing a pragmatic data management framework in alignment with corporate governance, risk and compliance management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of metadata, data quality and master & reference data management operating models, processes and tools.
  • Ability to influence and communicate the importance of data management from a customer, operational risk, regulatory and operational perspective.
