As a Senior Software Engineer who’s part of the Checkout squad, you’ll own the integration and evolution of our Checkout product that’s used on the websites of over 40,000 different ANZ merchants. 

With a focus on both the front and back end of our check-out experience, the team works with multiple APIs across different merchant platforms supported by our integration team. So, if you enjoy variety, experimenting with modern tech, and solving interesting challenges at a pace, this is the squad for you!  

Cool stuff you’ll be working on

  • Develop, support and provide technical guidance to the engineering squad to reduce complexity.
  • Promote a high-performance engineering culture.
  • Coach engineering best practices. 
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Product managers in a triad to discover and validate technical problems.
  • Guides the team in delivering quality focused goals.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Must have experience with C# and the latest .NetCore technologies and frameworks (preferably .NetCore 7/8)
  • Experience working in the front end with React, Next.js, Angular etc.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience building microservices and event driven architectures - we use Kafka
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
