WHO YOU ARE:
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various projects within our organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Process Engineering Interns. This internship will provide valuable insight into the field of process engineering and offer exposure to real-world applications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify problem areas and high rate of errors for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate process performance (Productivity and Quality) and identify potential issues or opportunities.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities to address technical challenges and optimize the process.
- Create value stream map for claims and post issue teams.
- Assist in the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), process workflows, and technical specifications.
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing process changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to guidelines and compliance standards while performing assigned tasks.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, findings, and recommendations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong academic background with coursework in process engineering and related subjects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and engineering software tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in work.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in process engineering or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for exploring new technologies and methodologies in process engineering.
