We are seeking an R&D Engineer (Computer Vision) to join our "Interactive Experiences" team. You'll develop on-device solutions for tracking progress and measuring fitness performance, including strength tests, interactive workouts, and body composition analysis. We prioritize rapid time-to-market to gather valuable user feedback. Our tech stack includes PyTorch, OpenCV, ONNX, MediaPipe, Streamlit, Docker, and AWS.
Responsibilities

Design and develop new fitness assessment and interactive workout experiences, including prototyping, curating datasets, building models and algorithms, and preparing them for production

Collaborate closely with the fitness science team to create an advanced exercise tracking system, incorporating features like rep counting, posture correction, and movement classification

Enhance the accuracy and capabilities of existing systems, such as fitness tests and body composition analysis, using user feedback and data insights to continuously refine the experience
Essential Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in R&D or Computer Vision

Strong software engineering skills with expertise in Python

Proven ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to release

Proficient in English, with strong communication skills
Beneficial skills

Familiarity with Swift and/or Kotlin, as we develop SDKs for iOS and Android teams

A degree in Mathematics, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred

Strong interest in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment; startup experience is a significant advantage
