What you will do:
  • Serve as the primary interface for the communities that Zilliz contributes to (e.g., Milvus, Towhee) and software developers throughout the globe
  • Design and execute data-driven action plans for developing and growing new Community building programs and constantly evaluating existing programs
  • Work and collaborate with several of Zilliz’s marketing functional groups, partners, and 3rd party vendors to deliver online webinars, office hours, offline conferences, etc. to drive awareness and generate leads for our market.
  • Drive the process of selecting presentation topics, reviewing marketing messaging, preparing presenters and moderators for the live presentations, and evaluating the programs for further improvement. Leading the logistics of the virtual event execution and promotion.
  • Mentor and cultivate participation skills among staff internally to better engage/collaborate with the community
  • Help define roles for community members, better their onboarding, map out engagement journeys, and in general, ensure they have an excellent experience
  • Co-design a better open-source community, including the discovery of new projects to launch, surfacing up existing contributions, and ensuring the contribution process is as frictionless as possible
What we are looking for:
  • 3+ years of working experience in developer communities or event marketing
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently while at the same time knowing how to ask for help when you get blocked
  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to successfully manage and execute multiple projects with different priorities and stakeholders
  • Clear, thoughtful communicator (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
