To achieve our vision, we are searching for a stellar Advocacy Manager with a Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4+ years of work experience to join our team.

As the Advocacy Manager, you will:
Actively contribute to the development and evolution of Zeta’s advocacy efforts
Organize events, activities, and initiatives that provide parents with an opportunity to have their voices heard in their community and by local, city, and state leadership
Build and manage a Parent Advocacy Group, a group of Zeta parents who are organizers, lead meetings and events, and become active leaders in the school community
Develop relationships with parents to enhance volunteerism and encourage a collaborative school community

For this role in particular, we are in search of someone with at least 3-5+ years of experience in advocacy and/or community organizing, or comparable roles requiring strong project management, relationship-development and organizational skills in fast-paced work environments. Schooling experience is a plus.
Zeta operates four schools in the Bronx and upper Manhattan. We have ambitious growth plans because the educational crisis is massive and requires big solutions.
