Join our mission
At Zeta, we pursue an unprecedented combination of high academic achievement and social-emotional development. We insist that every child receives a world-class education while fostering a love for learning. We are changing the public education landscape for all of New York City’s children, and we are uncompromising in our mission.
To achieve our vision, we are searching for passionate Pre-K Resident Teachers with a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, and a desire for personal and professional growth.
Deliver incredible results
As a Pre-K Resident Teacher at Zeta, you will assist in building a classroom culture that fosters students’ genuine love for learning and creates a sense of community for our families. With the support of talented leaders and a dedicated team, you will achieve incredible academic outcomes through a data-driven approach. With the support of your co-teacher, you will plan lessons, master the foundations of our academic content, become equipped with pedagogical tools, and work together to get every student over the finish line. You will grow into a true classroom leader.
At Zeta, we wholeheartedly pursue academic mastery in math, reading, writing, and science for all children. Pre-K classrooms also focus on developing academic skills and routines for our Pre-K students.
Your passion for innovation in the classroom coupled with our in-house curriculum will enhance the life trajectories of your students and launch them towards their most powerful and fulfilling lives.
Become a part of our world-class team
At Zeta, you will receive constant support and professional development while working with a world-class team. Every week, school teams dedicate time to engage in professional development workshops and mindfulness routines. Throughout the school day, Zeta maintains an open door policy, where both teachers and school leaders exchange feedback.
As a Resident Teacher, you would also pursue a Master’s Degree and a NY Teaching Certificate through our partnership with Relay Graduate School of Education. Zeta pays for the entirety of the Master’s program, and in return, we ask for a three year commitment from our Resident Teachers.
Successful teachers are encouraged to step up into leadership roles. As a rapidly growing organization, we are always looking to promote from within, and we provide ample training and support to ensure the next generation of Zeta leaders are well equipped for the task. We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that places a premium on the needs of you and your family. Zeta also provides top-of-the-line technology and classroom resources.
Bring your whole self
We want team members who are passionate about our mission, vision, and core values. You are hungry and determined to not only meet your goals, but surpass them at all costs. You are highly skilled at effectively communicating with your team members, both in good times and bad. You are humble, willing to put the team’s needs ahead of your own, and committed to contributing to a collaborative work environment. You want to have a voice in how we transform the landscape of education.
