The Team & Role

Our Recruiting team is responsible for helping grow the Gem family. We care deeply about building a high performing, diverse, and inclusive team where people can do their best work and have a blast while doing it. Being at the center of a company that builds modern recruiting software, our team is empowered to innovate on traditional recruiting methods and bring a high level of creativity to our everyday work. 

As one of our sales recruiters, you’ll run full-cycle with searches and strategically partner with hiring managers to make some of our early key hires within the Commercial, Enterprise and Sales Development organizations. Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador and power use of Gem’s products, workflows, and features
  • Guide our sales teams to their quarterly and annual hiring targets
  • 360-degree ownership of the recruiting process from the first intake to closing 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to scope and design interview processes as needed
  • Design and implement creative sourcing strategies with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Own communication between the interview teams and drive velocity of hiring
  • Be a thought partner with leadership on how to build a world-class team

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a full-cycle recruiting role with experience hiring world class sales and GTM professionals 
  • You’re a sourcer at heart and can source your way out of any situation 
  • Creative problem solver with a knack for getting things done
  • Proven experience engaging and closing high-quality talent
  • You have the ability to connect, communicate and influence people of all levels 
  • Experience designing thoughtful and efficient candidate experiences
  • Proven experience designing interview processes
  • Ability to challenge ideas and effectively influence others
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Experience working in a fast-pacing environment, early-stage startups preferred
