The Team & Role
We are seeking an experienced sales development professional with demonstrated success opening new, high-quality opportunities via outbound prospecting. The Sales Development Representative will proactively reach out to schedule demos with prospective customers under the guidance of the SDR Manager.
Create new sales opportunities for Account Executives via prospecting and outbound outreach
Research prospective customers and personalize messaging to drive interest in Gem’s platform
Partner with the marketing team to build creative sequences to convert Marketing Qualified Leads into opportunities
Qualify and route inbound inquiries
0-2+ years experience in a sales or business development representative role
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Willingness to work in a true startup environment and take on new and unexpected challenges with positivity and creativity
Ability to think strategically and analytically
Exceptionally organized.Experience leveraging Salesforce and/or Outreach/Salesloftis a bonus
