About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Finance (India). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and a strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in accounting and finance, with experience in assisting the management of a team of accountants.
What skills do I need?
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of India taxes and statutory regulations.
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge on IGAAP / USGAAP
Preferred Experience
- Experience working for a US-based SaaS tech company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google business applications.
- Preferred experience working within advanced ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Great Plains)
What will I be doing?
- Keep and reconcile the of books of accounts (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger) of India Companies.
- Actively participate in the month-end closing process for multiple companies in compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare depreciation, provisions, and intercompany billing records for the month-end closure activities.
- Prepare financial statements and workings for the year-end audit process of group Companies.
- Support in preparation of monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
- Support in payroll processing and disbursements.
- Support in preparing the Statutory Returns.
- Provide data analysis and support to management and other departments as required.
- Assist in improving existing Internal controls and procedures to be in line with Corporate Accounting Policies
