Position Overview:

The General Manager (GM) - UK will be responsible for providing strategic direction to Zenoti’s business in UK. S/he will take ownership of the the profit and loss for the business unit, ensuring financial targets are met. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, trends, and potential threats and driving the development of product requirements that meet market demands and align with the company's goals. They will also own building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients or partners in the market to ensure customer delight and retention.

 

Responsibilities

Strategic and Industry Leadership: 

  • Evolve the UK market as a strong revenue and growth engine for Zenoti. By recognizing regional trends, drivers, and ecosystems, build organizational capabilities to position Zenoti as a market leader in the region.
  • Set the strategic direction for the company, incorporating long-range planning, goal setting, and vision definition.
  • Establish and execute go-to-market strategy to attract and sign new customers; work cross-functionally to ensure go lives are successful.

 

Business Development:

  • Sales Strategy Oversight: Drive the implementation of Zenoti's sales strategy within the organization. Be responsible for Lead Generation.
  • Performance Metrics: Deliver on the Operating Model, establishing controls to optimize and achieve regional project and billed revenue, delivered value, and key performance metrics.
  • Sales and Pursuit Management: Take accountability for the Sales and Pursuit functions, ensuring high-quality proposals, pursuit agility, and a competitive win rate.

 

 P&L and Operations: 

  • Own the UK P&L and constantly identify avenues to optimize costs and improve profitability. 
  • Work with the team to develop, implement, and manage business processes, systems that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Leverage deep geographic expertise to effectively drive expansion and growth initiatives to create business value, aligning multiple stakeholders.
  • Enhance the capabilities of global teams around compliance, regulations, risk, and fraud as the market grows and more customers onboard on the Zenoti platform.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the UK office, utilizing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and manage resources effectively.

 

Communication & and Reporting: 

  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including employees, senior management, and clients. Handle crisis management and external communications skilfully.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the UK market.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team, demonstrating the impact of market on overall business goals.

 

Team Leadership and Cross functional collaboration: 

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team focused on client acquisition and retention.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the BU (Business Unit). 
  • Work closely with sales, CX, product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on go-to-market strategies

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction. Engage in strategies for key account management and build long-term customer relationships.

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in Sales, Strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.).
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills, with a problem-solving aptitude.
  • High degree of comfort in working in a matrixed environment, exerting influence without authority, to drive positive org outcomes.
