Position Overview:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for Zenni’s product lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product awareness, engagement, and sales. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Zenni’s product offerings and contribute to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with Zenni’s business goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Define target customer segments and develop tailored marketing plans to reach them effectively.
  2. Product Positioning and Messaging:
    • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Zenni’s products in the market.
    • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure alignment of product features and benefits with customer needs.
    • Create and manage a library of marketing assets, including product descriptions, sales collateral, and presentations.
  3. Go-to-Market Planning:
    • Contribute to the organization by identifying product marketing priorities, tailoring project briefs, advising on channel marketing plans, and offering creative insights where applicable.
    • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring cross-functional coordination and timely delivery.
    • Develop go-to-market plans that include marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and sales enablement.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of product launches, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  4. Customer Engagement and Advocacy:
    • Develop strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty through targeted marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the customer service team to gather feedback and insights for continuous product improvement.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key influencers and brand advocates to amplify product visibility.
  5. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and ROI.
    • Utilize data insights to optimize marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
  6. Content Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports product marketing objectives and enhances brand awareness.
    • Collaborate with the content creation team to produce high-quality content, including blog posts, videos, social media updates, and email campaigns.
    • Ensure all content is aligned with brand messaging and is optimized for SEO and customer engagement.
    • Plan and manage content calendars to ensure timely and consistent delivery of content across all channels.
    • Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve future content strategies.
    • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Copywriting Team to effectively articulate product stories across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring cohesive and seamless omnichannel messaging.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field;
  • Understanding and Respect for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the eyewear, CPG, or fashion industry. Ecommerce experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to juggle multiple critical, time-sensitive, and high-visibility projects.
  • Propensity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Experience in Product Marketing in the Optical Eyewear Industry

Compensation

In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $121,500 - $151,900. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
