We are seeking a data enthusiast with strong acumen for fostering self service analytics in our organisation. The role, based in Zenjob Headquarters in Berlin gives a strong opportunity to exhibit skills to automate and streamline business intelligence processes. Our growth financing round of $50 million (€45 million) from February 2022 is helping us to scale our platform and add new data-based automation features for our rapidly growing customer base.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Empower business users with self-service analytics through intuitive data products and knowledge democratization
- Training users on selection and usage of data visualization tools based on use cases.
- Full scale implementation of data literacy programs focusing on enablement of self service within wider groups
- Work closely with our data engineering team to support high quality data models
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including customer databases, market research, and operational performance using Cataloging tools
- Be Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the analytics infrastructure that allows for the efficient extraction and analysis of data to drive business decisions
- Creating optimized data models in collaboration with the data engineering team.
- Analyze tools for enhanced self service with features such as text to SQL modeling
What You’ll bring
- 5+ years of relevant experiences as a data analyst or analytics engineer.
- Good conceptual understanding of the data lifecycle management processes such as data ingestion, data extraction, data transformation, data modeling etc.
- Being familiar with the Data Mesh principles and their practical implications will be a big plus
- High proficiency in querying and modeling data using SQL. Good to have experience with tools like DBT
- Hands-on experience in cloud-based data tech stack
- Extensive experience using different data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau/Indicative.
- Translate business questions into analytical requirements by understanding business goals, relevant processes and available data.
- Great communication skills in stakeholder management from diverse backgrounds
- Experience weaving data analysis into clear, concise narratives for diverse audiences
- Experience with product analytics tools (eg. Indicative, Amplitude) and customer data platforms (CDP) like Segment, mParticle or Heap
