The role of the Security Analyst for Security Awareness & Social Engineering is to assist in the creation of awareness materials, events, and content which inform, excite, and engage an internal audience. This role specifically focuses on cybersecurity and physical security technical content which helps protect TriNet from a variety of threat actors and reduces the risk of social engineering.

Essential Duties:

Participate in the development and implementation of security training & awareness content for colleagues and

contractors, including social engineering.

Assist in producing unique and engaging security awareness content in written, audio, and visual mediums in the

form of newsletters, intranet postings, and workshops.

Assist in administering a variety of technical security training courses which support TriNet Security Policies &

Standards for good cyber hygiene, including tailored social engineering content.

Measure and report on key performance and risk indicators around security awareness and social engineering

campaigns and perform the appropriate follow-up activities for susceptible colleagues.

Proactively seek creative solutions to make complex matters approachable.

Assist in the coordination of specific role-based security training to teams who have critical roles or have access to

sensitive information.

Promotes and evangelizes awareness of different security risks through targeted awareness messages, roadshows,

lunch-and-learns and incentives to promote secure behavior.

Assist in updating material to support current and new security training programs and ensures material stays up to

date.

Assist in producing reports to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of the security trainings.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Psychology or or other related business subject area preferred or equivalent work

experience.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Information Security, Communications, Training & Education.

At least 1 year of the total experience in providing organized training, preferably in security awareness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrate the ability to understand the concepts of cybersecurity risks and the different elements

that make up risk.

Demonstrate the ability to understand the fundamentals of the various aspects of cyber security.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.

An understanding of business needs and dedication to delivering high-quality, timely, and efficient service to the

business.

Excellent prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively

assessing the priority and time required to complete each part.

An ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and pay attention to sources of information from inside and

outside one’s network within an organization.

An ability to effectively collaborate across multiple teams and ensure program needs are satisfied through

interpersonal and trusted communication.
