The Role

ZenBusiness is seeking an experienced, people-focused Director of Sales Operations that has a passion for growing and developing successful processes & systems for the Outbound, Inbound, and Chat inside sales organizations. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies that will grow and optimize sales productivity across all three ZenBusiness sales channels (Outbound, Inbound, and Chat).  The chosen person for this job should have a strong background in Sales Operations, to include Data Operations, Sales Strategy Development, Sales Process Optimization, Sales Analytics and Reporting, Sales Technology Management, Sales Compensation and Incentives, Sales Enablement Support, Forecasting & Budgeting, and Cross-Functional Collaboration.   

This position will report to our SVP, Sales, and is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for ZB customers & prospect leads to increase conversion rates and ensure sustainability.  
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop customer & prospect penetration strategies.  
  • Oversee sales processes to ensure continuous improvement & optimization.  
  • Enhance sales reporting through sales analytics and reporting improvements. 
  • Provide oversight and analysis to improve the effectiveness of ZB sales tools and technologies (OpsIQ, Salesforce.com,Quotapath, etc.)    
  • Partner with cross-departmental teams to enable successful sales outreach through the entire ZB customer journey lifecycle.

  • Work closely with finance to ensure strong adherence to budgets. Recommend and oversee adjustments in order to achieve budget/forecast.  
  • Hands-on approach to Sales third party tools including initial setup and ongoing maintenance, and reporting.
  • Research and resolve commission irregularities in partnership with the finance team. 
  • Workforce management planning, onboarding, offboarding and managing changes in third party tools for these activities.
  • End to end ownership of sales commission dispute process in third-party commission solution.    

Qualifications

  • 5 Years minimum in B2B Small Business Outbound Sales. 
  • 2 Years minimum Outbound Sales Operations experience.
  • Experienced at leading sales ops initiatives to drive ideal business outcomes.   
  • History and proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet objectives.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with change and uncertainty in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus!
