About You

  • You have 4+ years of experience as a producer at a creative agency or on an in-house team.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to facilitate the creative development process and guide the execution from conception to launch.

  • You’re a strong cross-functional collaborator. You have experience leading projects that involve multiple disciplines. You’re able to understand creative and business needs and effectively translate them across different disciplines.

  • You have knowledge of visual and content design, website development, and advertising.

  • You have literacy in project management and with asset management tools. You are a champion of evolving processes and advocate for process for impact rather than process for process sake.

  • You are a clear, effective communicator. You're strong written and verbal communication skills enable you to work asynchronously and across time zones. You’re an advocate for high-quality creative work that creates business value.

  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and are driven to create and maintain systems that enable others to do their best work.

  • You are iterative in your approach and work transparently, bringing teammates and stakeholders along as you drive improvements.

  • You have an ownership mindset. You are resourceful, self-directed, and take initiative to get ahead of blockers that might impact creative production.


Things You’ll Do

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define project requirements and scope against business objectives.

  • Manage all stages of the creative production process to enable the Brand Studio team to deliver high quality creative work that delivers business impact.

  • Build and manage production plans ensuring all team members and stakeholders understand project scope, roles and responsibilities, deliverables, project objectives, and key milestones from beginning to end.

  • Facilitate effective critiques and reviews and ensure prioritized feedback is represented in the work. Advocate for high-quality creative work that creates business value.

  • Represent the Brand Studio team as the primary point of contact for your areas of ownership and become a trusted partner to cross-functional teammates.

  • Source, onboard, and manage external creative partners (e.g creative agencies, photographers, production companies). Negotiate and manage project statements of work, budget estimates, and partner contracts.

  • Own systems for project documentation, status tracking, and communication to ensure stakeholders and team members are involved at the right times, understand project health and decisions, and follow through on their commitments.

  • Establish and maintain planning and resourcing processes that promote a high standard of quality and innovation for the Zapier brand.

  • Establish and maintain a system for archiving and retrieving final deliverables.

  • Travel of 5% - 10% for Zapier retreats that rotate to various cities throughout North America.

*While we support Zapiens around the world the best we can, healthcare plans are available in the UK, Canada, and United States. Retirement plans are currently available specifically in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and United States. A regional benefits premium is added directly to the salary ranges for team members who are in countries where we do not have entities or provide company-sponsored benefits. When recommendations are made for base salary, the benefits premium has already been factored in.
