Job Summary:

This position requires a current US Department of Defense or Intelligence SECRET or TS/SCI clearance. Applicants who are not already actively cleared will not be considered.

As a Senior Solution Architect - Federal, you will deliver the Yurts platform to US Government clients. You will contribute to end-to-end deployment and optimization of the platform, including platform DevSecOps, back-end deployment, front-end customization, and integration into client mission systems. Your expertise in coding and architecture will be instrumental in delivering and optimizing our capability to meet the needs of our clients. You will closely collaborate with our product team to communicate client and end-user requirements back to internal teams, inform our development roadmap, and improve the Yurts product offering. You will own the integration with client mission systems, including authentication, APIs, and front end. Additionally, your experience in supporting production systems and debugging challenges in distributed systems will be critical for ensuring the reliability and stability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver our Generative AI capability to federal government clients.
  • Present progress and outcomes to client technical leadership.
  • Coordinate with client and partner technical teams to accelerate delivery, optimize deployment, mitigate risks, and remove blockers.
  • Collaborate with Design and Product teams and others in our product team to address user requirements and craft features that enhance the user experience.
  • Participate in the delivery and maintenance of Yurts products, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
  • Continuously improve and iterate on features to deliver value to clients.
  • Take ownership of your work, from design to implementation and maintenance, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Deploy cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and other dependency frameworks for our platform in customer environments.
  • Deploy the Yurts platform to customer environments, including both on-premises and cloud.
  • Debug and optimize deployments to meet customer expectations.
  • Customize front-end tooling and develop widgets for integration into customer applications.
  • Integrate Yurts authentication into customer authentication systems using Keycloak and federation approaches.
  • Support production systems, handling debugging challenges in distributed systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, picking up new languages and technologies as needed.
  • This position may require travel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence SECRET clearance, with a willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI if needed. Applicants without an active SECRET clearance or higher will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or software solution delivery, with a track record of delivering products to US government customers.
  • Proficient in backend development using Python.
  • Experience deploying clusters using Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and/or related technologies.
  • Proficient in front-end development using JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
  • Exceptional coding skills and a passion for creating high-quality software.
  • Experience with authentication using Keycloak, preferably with experience integrating with DoD/IC authentication frameworks (CAC token key management, PKI keys, or similar).
  • Experience with iterative development processes, thriving in dynamic and agile environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to own collaboration with clients, partner vendors, end users, and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable supporting production systems and debugging challenges in distributed systems.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to pick up new languages and technologies as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience delivering ML solutions to customers is a plus.
  • Experience with LLMs and Generative AI technologies is a plus.
