HR Generalist

If so, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! We are the Y Soft HR team, a dedicated group of 12 professionals based in Prague and Brno. Together, we support an end-to-end employee agenda for over 300 YSofters worldwide. We’re currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and support our Frontline teams (Sales, Marketing & Customer Support). Are you the HR star we need? 

What you´ll do: 

  • Collaborate closely with your HR Business Partner to support employees with their employment-related needs, including onboarding, personal changes, organizational changes, and terminations—all on a global scale. 
  • Develop and maintain seamless, flexible HR operations that adapt to both internal and external changes. 
  • Stay updated on Labour Code changes, ensuring you’re informed about the latest developments in employment law. 
  • Manage our employee-related data, ensuring it is accurately stored (using our ERP system, IFS), up-to-date, and readily available for reporting. 
  • Lead our international payroll efforts and serve as the primary contact for all global payroll providers. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws in every operational decision. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • A solid background in employment-related matters. 
  • Strong knowledge of the Labour Code and its applications. 
  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak and advanced proficiency in English (B2). 
  • Courageous honesty and the confidence to speak up when something doesn’t seem right. 
  • A solutions-driven mindset with a talent for identifying challenges and finding effective resolutions. 
  • The ability to balance meticulous attention to detail with practical problem-solving in day-to-day business operations. 
  • A collaborative spirit that thrives in non-hierarchical environments, along with strong independent thinking and communication skills.
