About The Role:

We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Analyst to join our PanasonicWELL team, reporting to the Chief of Staff. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief of Staff and our functional and operational teams to support delivery and execution of the top-priority initiatives for the CEO and organization. You may also be tasked with liaising between different departments or stakeholders, synthesizing intelligence for reports, and assisting in the execution of strategic initiatives. Furthermore, as a key aide to the Chief of Staff, you would be expected to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism, serving as a trusted confidant and gatekeeper. Your role may involve overseeing communication channels, filtering incoming requests, and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance. Collaboration with other members of the executive team and providing support during high-pressure situations would also be integral aspects of your position. Ultimately, your contribution plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and efficacy of the executive team, contributing to the overall success of the organization

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Aide to the Chief of Staff: Support overall activities and priorities for the Chief of Staff, including jointly undertaking strategic initiatives, facilitating communication about strategic matters throughout the organization, and identifying/filling gaps in processes to ensure streamlined operations.
  • In-depth Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis on relevant topics, policies, regulations, and industry trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Strategic Support: Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, providing analytical support and insights to drive organizational goals.
  • Project Management: Assist in the management of special projects assigned by the Chief of Staff, including data analysis, and preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and leaders from various internal departments and external partners to support cross-functional projects and initiatives, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Information Management: Organize and maintain confidential information and documents, ensuring accessibility and accuracy as needed.
  • Prioritization: Support setting priorities for the leaders’ agendas, helping to ensure that decisions about how their time is spent reflect organizational priorities.
  • Preparation and follow up: review upcoming meetings/events to ensure the leaders have information needed to be productive and effective (e.g., agendas, documents, notes, briefings).
  • Manage executive communications: support running leadership events, draft communications, organize and prepare briefing materials.
  • Bring multiple stakeholders together to drive towards productive decisions

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field. MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in a business management role, including 2+ years in a similar position
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese a must
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating with multiple teams and departments
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and budget management
  • Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
  • Experience working with Japanese corporations
  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
  • Attention to detail and an obsession to accuracy
  • Comfort in navigating through ambiguity
  • A “can-do” attitude to find ways to devise creative solutions
  • Ability to travel internationally
