About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal AI/ML architect/Team Lead. This role is ideal for a leader with strong expertise in deep learning neural network, generative AI, large language models (LLM), and knowledge graphs, big plus with experience in image processing/computer vision/pattern recognition. The successful candidate will spearhead the development of innovative AI/ML projects, driving the team towards creating advanced, scalable solutions that enhance our data-driven capabilities.

PanasonicWELL is able to employ individuals who reside in (or that are willing to relocate to) the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Architect, design and implement advanced AI/ML systems, leveraging technologies in deep learning neural network, knowledge graphs, GenAI, LLM.
  • Drive/Lead the vision and architecture for our AI/ML solutions, ensuring they align with business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML technologies into our product offerings.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of AI/ML projects, from ideation and data collection to deployment and monitoring.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI/ML to keep our technology stack at the cutting edge.
  • Advocate for best practices in AI ethics, data privacy, and model interpretability.
  • Drive the adoption of new methodologies and tools to enhance team productivity and product quality.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of projects.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science with focus areas in AI/ML, Data Science, or related field. PhD is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record in building production-ready solutions using deep learning, neural network, knowledge graphs, generative AI/LLM.
  • Experience in a tech leadership role with project management responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills, can be very hands-on, design and build solutions as an IC
  • Strong programming skills in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, R, PyTorch).
  • Experience with cloud services and machine learning deployment architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and mentorship.
  • Robust portfolio of completed AI projects that demonstrate real-world problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
