About The Role:

We are hiring a Partnerships Development Manager to work with our VP of Partnerships to execute complex transactions and acquire data assets that will meaningfully expand YipitData’s product portfolio and accelerate growth.

This role can be in person or remote. You’ll find several Partnerships team members at our NYC office and our VP of Partnerships at our Austin office.

YipitData’s product portfolio is underpinned by a growing set of exciting data partnerships. Each new data partnership acts as a growth driver for the business, unlocking new product development opportunities and new business lines. This role represents a unique opportunity to work directly with executive management on mission-critical growth initiatives.

As our newest Partnerships Development Manager you will:

  • Work together with leadership and our product development team to set our data acquisition strategy
  • Identify prospective partners within specific sectors that have high-value data assets
  • Cultivate c-suite and leadership level relationships with prospective partners
  • Run comprehensive diligence process to understand partner’s data assets, goals, and challenges
  • Negotiate and sign complex enterprise-level partnerships, in some cases explore M&A as a way to access desired data
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with key partners, including legal and compliance, product, engineering, and YipitData executive management

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

  • You have 4-5 years of experience evaluating and executing complex transactions (strategic partnerships, M&A, large enterprise licensing agreements) that include buy-in from multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
  • You have a track record of not only meeting but exceeding goals or performance expectations
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable working with CXO level stakeholders
  • You thrive with less structure in your work and enjoy carving new paths as no two partnerships deals will be alike and strategy projects are often very different from one another
  • You are creative and have great questioning skills - connecting seemingly disparate dots to uncover insights, identifying concerns and coming up with novel solutions 
  • You have grit and tenacity and can overcome setbacks and challenges
  • You are a team player motivated by the company’s success more than personal success
  • You have interest and curiosity in the data ecosystem, company financial analysis,  disruptive economies
