Yext is seeking highly-organized, motivated, and goal-oriented Services Interns to join our Services & Support organization. Services Interns are responsible for helping to deliver our software solutions throughout the Yext Customer Journey (from Initial Implementation through Ongoing Maintenance and Enhancements). Services Interns work towards becoming a product expert that manages or assists in the management of the scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder expectations of projects, ensuring fast time to value for clients while maintaining a great client experience. You’ll serve as a supporting project team member on key engagements for our clients including customer onboarding, product launches, data integrations, platform configuration, issue troubleshooting, solution strategizing, and custom software development efforts.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with and lead day-to-day project management and delivery of Services for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring delivery meets customer requirements on time and within budget
  • Serve as a supporting project team member on projects or engagements, and at times, assist in scheduling project team resources to ensure successful project outcomes on some projects
  • Report regular status updates and escalate project risks to management, account team and clients
  • Document client business rules, requirements, and customizations and ensure proper configuration of the platform
  • Develop an understanding of Search Engine Optimization, data modeling, and integration best practices and optimization to assist in providing guidance throughout client engagements to drive customer ROI with Yext
  • Partner with the full account team on engagements including representatives from sales, success, and support orgs to ensure client satisfaction
  • Identify and suggest process improvements, and partner with internal resources to help improve internal functions and workflows
  • Deliver product feedback to leadership

 What You Have

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in any discipline graduating between December 2023 and August 2024
  • Excellent project management (including prioritization and organization) skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills, especially an aptitude for communicating complex issues in a digestible way
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis and manipulation with Excel
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL is a plus
  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong ability to communicate complex problems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, process-driven
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Determination and perseverance when faced with challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Takes pride in providing a high level of service and delivering consistent performance
  • Interest in a client-facing technology role

The hourly salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be $28/hour. Pay rates at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
