Due to the growth of our business, XMotors AI Inc. is in demand for the professional services of a Staff Engineer. The Staff Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
Design software architectures for the Navigation Guided Pilot on Xmotors Electrical Vehicles;
Research and design state-of-the-arts machine learning algorithms, using machine learning and deep learning for vehicles to make generic decisions;
Implement and fine tuning the algorithms in PyTorch or TensorFlow, integration the algorithms online with real time inference and evaluate algorithms on road test;
Build the big data pipeline for deep learning algorithms to efficiently collect, analyze and evaluate autonomous driving behavior on PB-scale data by a highly distributed computing and file systems with hundreds of workers;
Design and implement the state-of-the-arts motion planning algorithms, including tradition roadmaps algorithms, sampling-based algorithms, and optimization-based algorithms for different traffic scenarios;
Implement the algorithms by motion planning library OMPL and optimization tools including Operator Splitting QP Solver (OSQP), Interior Point Optimization Package (IPOPT), and qpOASES for large scale non-linear and quadratic programming;
Conduct other major system developing, designing, testing, and supporting as leading engineer for the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field;
12 months experience in software development;
Proficient in Python and C/C++;
12 months experience in deep learning algorithms with PyTorch or Tensorflow;
Solid understanding in design and implement motion planning algorithms;
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
