Technical Program Manager - Date Platform

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery across several parallel programs for engineering teams and operational teams in Data Platform.
  • Manage issues with crystal clear due date, owner to make sure their resolution on a timely manner. Do proper escalation when necessary to unblock engineering development.
  • Work closely with development/operation teams to define core metrics and goals; facilitate result-driven developments/operations. 
  • Communicate across teams and leadership team about progress and risks.
  • Streamline and optimize agile software development processes followed by engineering teams. Educate all developers/leads on best agile development practices by organizing internal/external training/seminars.

 

Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in computer science or prior work experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of shown TPM experience in fast-paced tech company
  • 2+ years experiences in SW development.
  • Ability to influence engineering teams without authority
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
  • Familiar with Jira, confluence, and project management tools.
  • Solid foundation and experience in agile software development practices and hands on ability to optimize agile software development processes

 

Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Experience in data platform related development
