We are looking for a behavior planning engineer with strong programming and software development skills to develop the behavior planning software pipeline. You will be responsible for software architecture design and development of core functional modules that generate high level decisions for the vehicle based on Sensor Fusion and Localization outputs.
You will be working with a team of best in class computer vision and AI systems and software engineers to ensure best behavior planning performance on our autonomous vehicles. Your work will ensure that we deliver most reliable mass market autonomous vehicle solution.
Design and develop the behavior planning algorithms/modules to generate high level decisions for autonomous vehicles that improve efficiency and ensure safety
Work closely with other module teams in the system that provides input to behavior planning and consumes output of behavior planning.
Work closely with systems and test teams on development and testing of algorithms/modules on simulation and on-target platforms.
Minimum Skill Requirements:
Master’s in computer science or equivalent technical field
Experience in development of full stack software solutions
Proficiency in developing and implementing algorithms in C / C++
Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Skill Requirements:
Software Development experience for embedded systems involving integration of hardware and software
Knowledge in behavior planning related fields, including but not limited to, optimization, POMDP, traffic scene understanding and analysis.
Hands on experience with finite state machine development
Hands on experience with simulation environments
Familiarity with deep learning based decision making techniques
