We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic People Operations team. This role is instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making, optimize HR processes, and enhance employee experience. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a passion for uncovering insights from HR data.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data, including employee demographics, performance metrics, turnover rates, compensation, and training data.
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure HR effectiveness.
    • Create insightful and actionable reports and dashboards to communicate findings to HR leadership and stakeholders.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in HR data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Data Quality and Management:
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across HR systems and databases.
    • Implement data cleaning and validation processes to maintain data quality.
    • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to document data definitions and sources.
  • HR Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with HR teams to identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
    • Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Support HR projects by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Data Visualization:
    • Create compelling data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, dashboards) to effectively communicate complex data insights to various audiences.
    • Utilize data visualization tools to create interactive and engaging reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR data analysis or a related field.
  • Ability to communicate in fluent U.S. English in a business setting
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ADP, Looker, Python, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of HR metrics, KPIs, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data integration.
  • Knowledge of HR analytics methodologies and frameworks is heavily desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
