In this role you will work in a dynamic environment with a relentless focus on developing our Partner Network while delivering world class outcomes for our customers.  In this highly visible role you will be accountable for managing the overall network capacity focused on partner retention and predictable manufacturing capacity within our respective outsource groups.  You will be relentless when it comes to helping  Xometry achieve our desired job acceptance rates, margins, improving on time delivery and exceptional quality.

You will provide intentional guidance leveraging data-driven insights to improve the overall Partner Network capacity by running statistical analysis to determine the optimal number of partners required, by the outsource group, to achieve our desired acceptance rates and margins.

A typical day will consist of the management of Partner Network capacity by evaluating the overall health of the network and providing immediate guidance in terms of where to aim our partner retention and acquisition lens.  You will serve as a trusted resource for the Partner Network and will focus on building trusted parted relationships within the Default, Premium and Ultra Premium Network.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data-driven insights to drive overall acceptance rates and margins for the Partner Network
  • Analyze Network capacity and target / flag under represented Partner Segments / Outsource Groups
  • Devise and implement partner certification programs (starting with Ultra Premium) focused on building trusted partnerships and predictable outcomes (quality and OTS)
  • Manage the Partner Outsourcing Group program, including eligibility identification, sufficient vetting to quality requirements, and promotion/demotion dependent individual Partner Performance
  • Design customized coaching programs for partners with a relentless focus on monitoring and measuring performance.
  • Rapidly resolve operational escalations related to partner performance
  • Develop and implement partner churn program
  • Serve as the ITAR conversion leader 
  • Travel to our partner sites (as required) to conduct on-site visits aimed at creating partner centers of excellence and “Xometry Certified”
  • Maintain accurate training records and establish standard training curriculum for partners
  • Support cross functional meetings with the marketing team to drive targeted partner acquisition
  • Collaborate with the Data Science Leadership to identify the optimal number of partners required in each outsource group (and process) to achieve optimal acceptance rate and margin

  • Partner OTD and Quality for Partner Network - In accordance with QMS.
  • Acceptance rates at QMS Standards
  • RMA and Rejection Rate at QMS Standards
  • Margins at or above QM Standards
  • NPS - Meeting or exceeding Partner NPS and CSAT

Qualifications / Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years serving as a lead/leader in supply chain or manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing, machining, and the language and rhythms of the manufacturing environment is a strong plus (at least one role will specialize in transaction support for manufacturers).
  • Proven track record of leveraging insight and data analysis to determine the best way to balance customer and supplier needs.
  • Proven track record of identifying knowledge gaps and delivering training and mentorship to develop others a plus. 
  • Top-class analytical skills – understands the importance of data and acumen and converts insights to action. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Ability to persuade, educate and imbue trust is essential. 
  • Fluency with presentation, document, project management and other essential business applications.
  • Must be permanent resident of the US
