Responsibilities

  • Owner and key contributor of the Simulation data pipeline, computation framework and data storage system;
  • Responsible for scaling up data processing flow to meet the rapid growth of daily simulation volume;
  • Closely work together with internal teams to evolve simulation platform to empower teams to self-serve their needs;

 

Basic Qualifications

  • MS in Computer Science or equivalent (in lieu of degree, relevant work experience). 5+ years of working experience in data infrastructure;
  • Strong software design and coding skills using Python or Java;
  • In depth knowledge and hands on working experience of container technologies like Docker and orchestration system like Kubernetes in production;
  • Extensive knowledge on operating system, networking and file system, hands on experience to analyze and optimize software performance at various levels of the stack;
  • Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems;
  • Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork spirit;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of common approaches to building simulation systems, experience in a highly-concurrent, multi-processor, and multi-threaded environment;
  • Strong knowledge and hands on working experience with Spark, Kafka, Hadoop or other distributed systems;
  • Experience of working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure etc.
