About the Job

Merchant Onboarding Operations Lead is primarily responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding process by driving the necessary management and improvements. This role includes:

Minimum Qualifications

  • College graduate
  • 2-3 years of work experience
  • Experience in fintech/banking operations, preferably in the client account opening and pre-requirements process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management and/or customer experience
  • Based in Manila, Philippines

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and identify potential problems and improvements in Merchant Onboarding processes, as well as propose approaches to the problems and improvements
  • Self-evaluate and report the progress of their projects in a measurable and accountable manner
  • Assess risk when onboarding decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the company’s reputation and safeguarding Xendit
  • Manage relationships with various internal stakeholders
  • Apart from the initiatives, this role will have regular shifts:
    • Conducting business profile reviews for all merchant accounts
    • Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with AML, local regulations, and Xendit standards
    • Process cases based on the priorities set by the team
    • Communication with channel partners to execute and improve onboarding
  • Able to use word processing software such as Google Docs, Slides, and Sheet comfortably
  • Preferably, possessing some experience in people management
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed
