About the Job
A role we are looking for right now is a 6-month Senior Accountant role (with the opportunity to be extended and/or to be converted into a permanent employee status) with the responsibility of delivering accurate and timely reporting while maintaining regulatory compliance.
At Xendit, the foundation of our financial information centers around cash and merchant balances. As a Senior Accountant, the primary responsibility is ensuring the consistent and prompt reconciliation of these vital balances - cash and merchant. We are looking for an individual who not only has exceptional communication abilities with internal stakeholders but also has strong analytical skills and drive for automation and process improvements. These skills are essential for delving deeply into product behaviors and understanding the intricacies of process flows, encompassing both partner settlements and merchant transactions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience fast-growing environment with experience being audited by Big 4 accounting firms
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
- At least 2 years of experience working in one of the Big 4 accounting firms
- At least 2 years of experience in reconciliation and analysis of bank transactions
- Experienced in using Computerized Accounting System particularly Oracle NetSuite
- Proficient in Google apps (e.g. google docs, google sheets, google slides) and slack
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality work
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing initiative and a strong goal-oriented mindset
- Team player and have great ownership mentality and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
- Pick up new skills quickly using a combination of self-exploration and relationship building
- Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation and analysis
- Prepare regular reconciliation of bank transactions against Xendit’s database for all products offered
- Prepare regular reconciliation of customer balances
- Active collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and financial accuracy.
- Ensure all bank transactions are entered and reconciled in the Computerized Accounting System within 10 days after month-end.
- Present the outcomes of the reconciliation to the Country Finance Manager.
- Assist during external financial audits and regulatory audits
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
- Efficiency Optimization
- Propose solutions and assist in managing automation projects.
- Develop SOPs to maximize the efficiency and scalability of the Finance and Accounting department.
