Role Summary

Xealth created the cloud-based clearing-house for digital health content. Our product runs on AWS, integrating tightly with 3rd party EMR and practice management systems such as Cerner and Epic. We’re a highly skilled, passionate team, disciplined in our agile approach, with a track record of success –– and we are proud to be applying our efforts to improve healthcare options for everyone. 

We're looking to grow our QA team, and are looking for an experienced tester to join us. We offer a unique opportunity to do something meaningful in a fantastic work environment while developing your test/QA skills in a variety of modern web and mobile technologies.

This role sits with our Customer Operations QA team which gets more involved with our customers and partners. It includes working closely with our internal Customer Account team and reviewing configurations and implementation of our Use Cases. You will also participate in customer-facing calls where you will assist in real-time with testing, and troubleshooting of the Xealth product. 

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide Test / QA coverage for web and mobile applications, APIs, data pipelines, security, and more
  • Write test plans and test scripts for various use case workflow, feature and regression testing
  • Execute tests and report bugs both during the development phase and as part of routine regression/exploratory testing 
  • Review .yaml configurations for potential issues, execute pre-testing, participate in UAT calls, and review AWS logs.
  • Work with the Product and Engineering teams to define and document acceptance criteria
  • Make a real, positive difference in other people's lives through your work
  • Other interesting tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Thorough understanding of quality and testing principles, techniques, and protocols
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience working hands on with customers
  • Hands-on experience with testing browser-based web applications and RESTful APIs 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly report a bug with steps and description
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently to investigate and troubleshoot bugs

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with 3rd party EMR systems like Epic and Cerner is a big plus!
  • An interest or previous experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with AWS toolset (specifically Cloudwatch)
  • Experience with JIRA or a similar tool
  • Experience with Mongo DB (data querying)
  • A desire to learn and expand your abilities in a small, cross-functional team

Compensation & Benefits

Xealth offers a multi-tiered approach when constructing a highly competitive compensation package. The compensation package would include a base salary, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits.

The compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000 + equity, depending on geographic market.
