Responsibilities: 

  • Discover customer’s current architecture and develop cloud readiness and implementation plans
    Build a strong rapport with customers and develop long-term successful relationships
    Develop cloud architectural diagrams for presales and project delivery 
    Complete and maintain technical documentation throughout the life cycle of assigned projects
    Lead technical discovery, development and deployment sessions
    Manage incidents and service requests
    Provide customers with tier 2 support
    Design for safety and verify compliance
    Analyze and optimize technical and business processes
    Vouch for the reliability of the designed solution and its operations
    Verify that necessary requirements, incident details, and other supporting information are provided with each incident or service request submitted
    Design for optimal application functionality
    Follow up on technical queries and provide timely feedback
    Mentor and cross-train colleagues and others in the organization
    Develop runbooks, assessments, offerings, and reusable templates for future use

Required Skills: 

  • Degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical area
  • 3-5 years experience as a Cloud Engineer/Architect
  • Hands on experience with with the Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience architecting, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge of software and network configurations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and containerization processes 
  • Experience in configuring logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Experience implementing client-to-site, site-to-site, and high availability VPNs
  • Certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
