YOUR MISSION
- You will be responsible for accounts receivable. In this area, tasks include keeping track of and managing customers' unpaid bills. This involves resolving payment issues, sending reminders, and, if necessary, starting debt collection processes.
- You will provide support in accounts payable, including checking and posting incoming invoices from suppliers, credit card and travel expense statements, as well as preparing payment runs.
- You will prepare the monthly and yearly financial statements on time, according to German accounting rules (HGB).
- You will cooperate and communicate effectively with internal departments as well as external customers and suppliers.
- You will also support the further development of processes and systems in the wider area of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting according to HGB or IFRS.
- You are fluent in German and have a good understanding of English.
- You are comfortable working with accounting software (experience with Business Central and Moss would be desirable, but not essential) and you are open to learning new tools.
- You have an independent, structured and detail oriented way of working.
- You have a natural ability to overcome challenges with innovative solutions.
