We are seeking a visionary and strategic people leader to join our team as the Vice President of People & Culture. In this role, you will shape and steer the company's HR vision, aligning it with our corporate objectives and playing a vital role in executive decision-making by bringing people-focused insights to the table.

This position reports directly to the CEO and is a vital part of Wrike's Executive Leadership Team. As a member of our leadership group, you'll play a key role in developing and putting into actionable HR strategies that align with our business goals. Your focus will be on fostering a workplace culture that supports business success and promotes a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing environment.

How You will make an impact

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our people executive strategy and cultivating a positive workplace culture across all levels of the organization. To do this, you have robust leadership qualities, strategic acumen, and the capability to collaborate closely not only with executives but also with leaders throughout the company. Your responsibilities will entail formalising processes, ensuring compliance, and focusing people infrastructure development. While primarily focused on strategy, you should be prepared to be hands-on when necessary.

You will achieve your best if you

  • Will be the number one for shaping and guiding our HR vision to align with corporate objectives, providing valuable insights for executive decision-making, including considerations for future M&A integration strategies. Building strong relationships across senior leadership will be crucial in driving initiatives throughout the company.
  • You'll create a Talent strategy to not only attract top talent globally but to also enhance talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
  • As a culture champion, you'll cultivate an inclusive and empowering company culture, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Managing employee relations and implementing strategies to boost engagement and productivity will be key to ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • You'll drive operational excellence in HR operations, focusing on efficiency and employee experience while managing costs, and guide the organization through growth phases and M&A integrations. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and leveraging HR analytics to inform strategies will also be essential in this role.

Essential Qualifications

  • An innovative leader with over 10 years of experience in senior HR positions within the technology sector, ideally within a global setting, with private equity exposure considered advantageous.
  • Leading a wide range of functions within the HR Org including HRBPs, TA, WPO, Comp&Ben and HROps
  • Demonstrated successful history of crafting and executing HR and Talent strategies that contribute to business success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to motivate a diverse global team.
  • A thorough grasp of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.
  • Proven capability to lead during periods of change & previous involvement in M&A is highly desirable.
  • Being open to going the extra mile within your role and flexibility to travel to various Wrike locations, including those in the US
  • We prefer for this position to be situated at Wrike's Center of Excellence in Prague, but we're also open to assisting with relocation within EU if needed.
