GTB Melbourne Search Executive – Contract Role 6 months hopefully to be extended permanently

Overview:

This Search Executive role is for an exciting and newly approved project for GTB.  This is a contract to potentially permanent role depending on how well the program performs.

The Search Executive will support the Search Manager across this project managing the majority of day to day Paid Search tasks.  This project will be supported by the GTB Associate Digital Director and Digital Director.  This project is an extension into a 2nd region off the back of the success of the initial Pilot region, which launched in 2020.  This 2nd region program will continue to incorporate local ‘store’ paid search within the National paid search programs already run by GTB.  This local ‘store’ program has specific KPI’s and will be heavily monitored for success.  Upon proving the 2nd region is as successful as the 1st, the plan is to roll the pilot out to the remainder of ‘stores’ across the country.  The 2nd region is roughly ¼ of the full store list.

The Search Executive will support the Search Manager who is the major contact point for local store owners, with regards to communications and questions.  This is a sensitive project in that, while not all store owners have paid search set up, the ones that do, are very involved and need to feel comfortable with GTB taking over this portion of their activity and see the full benefits of the consolidation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working mainly with the Search Manager as well as the Digital Directors for naming conventions and account set up to build out the local store search program for region 2, within the current National framework and following the guidelines and structure already set up from region 1
  • Campaign implementation and DAILY optimisations via AdWords Editor and DS 360, as required to meet/exceed benchmarks and KPIs
  • Build collaborative and respectful relationships with local store owners and support the Search Manager as the lead “go to” person for all paid search queries across local store paid search
  • Help build responses to store owner requests in a timely manner
  • Working with the Search Manager, provide store owners with a well-informed POV in meetings/con-calls
  • Working with the Search Manager to build a MONTHLY reporting template and follow reporting cadence
  • Adjust the reporting template to provide bespoke reports for each local store to make sure previous reported details are not missing
  • Build a strong relationship with the full GTB team
