The Role: 

We’re looking for a confident, strategic and creative Senior Account Manager with exceptional communication and relationship skills to lead the development and implementation of experiential and integrated campaigns. This role offers plenty of diversity as it straddles sectors such as tourism, automotive, FMCG, finance and government and includes working for blue-chip brands such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Westpac, Expedia and IKEA.

  • The management of client campaigns and projects to deliver work according to the highest standards and satisfaction of clients
  • Brief and manage internal and external teams including creatives and specialist teams of designers, content makers, digital strategists and talent agents
  • Development of proactive ideas and nurturing new business opportunities
  • Writing and managing the production of proposals and pitch documents
  • Reporting of revenue and campaign financial performance in conjunction with Production teams to maximise agency profitability
  • Represent Maverick in credentials presentations and showcase the Maverick unique offering to existing and potential clients as well as within the WPP network
  • Monitor and report on competitive trends in advertising and marketing that impact clients and their customers including detailed awareness of client industry sectors
  • Support and closely collaborate with senior agency representatives, including Company Directors, Client Service Director and Group Account Director
  • Accurate completion and application of all company processes and procedures including estimates, invoicing and other project related documentation
  • The management and mentoring of account service executives and managers
  • Build and foster outstanding relationships with clients, partners/third parties and internal staff members and contribute to an agency culture that fosters high performing teams with trust, respect and accountability

What you will need:

  • A track record in experience marketing with a keen insight for trends
  • A track record in agency with 4 years + experience
  • An excellent communicator (written and oral) with the confidence to lead presentations and meetings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A passion for business development
  • A strong collaborator and problem solver
  • Experience in digital strategy, social media and technology in campaign marketing and experiential
  • Experience in content making and production across various formats and channels
  • A knowledge and interest in popular culture (E.g. Sport, fashion, film/TV, design, the Arts)
