We are currently looking for a Content & Partnerships Manager to join us as part of the MediaCom Creative Systems team, supporting the Content & Partnerships Director. In MCS we help our clients increase their cultural relevance through branded integration into content. We do this by working with media partners to identify and develop opportunities for clients which connect with culture, are developed bespoke for platform and are personalised as much as possible. One day is never the same in this role, as sometimes you are working with internal strategy and creative teams to respond to briefs and other times you are responsible for end-to-end project management of content partnerships for our clients, including being heavily involved in the creative & production components.

This position is open to be based in either Melbourne or Sydney

On any given day, you might:

People

  • Ensure regular 121 time with all direct reports (if applicable) and check on their workload, performance and output
  • Role model effective communication skills / practices
  • Work closely with strategy and creative teams to ensure you are up to date with their latest offerings and ‘great work’
  • Build relationships with clients, key media suppliers, creative agency partners and other WPP companies especially Hogarth

Product

  • Working with Content Partnerships Director to allocate resource nationally to respond to briefs with the content strategy, creative & social teams
  • Contribute to ideation of integration ideas, ensuring that we striving to develop audience-first content
  • Project management of all creative and production elements, including third-party briefing and feedback/approvals
  • Owner of master budget, timeline and deliverables matrix; ensuring elements are delivered on time, on budget and to spec
  • Manage logistical & production elements of campaigns, in some cases holding direct relationships with production companies
  • Share ‘great work’ examples from the team with the rest of the agency
  • Be aware of awards as they arise and identify client campaigns that can be entered
  • Assisting in developing relationships with production companies and freelancers in order to have a roster of best in class suppliers with preferred rates and relationships
  • Keep up to date on all regulatory matters relating to the Content discipline

Client

  • Build/Maintain strong client relationships through best in class servicing
  • Key point of contact for your clients, managing all stakeholders involved in your projects, driving communication efficiencies and promoting strong collaborative working relationships
  • Brand custodians for your clients, ensuring that all deliverables are aligned with brand strategy, values & guidelines
  • Negotiating as much integration value as possible in regards to high production value, authenticity, frequency, duration, talent and IP
  • Own part of internal and client WIP meetings
  • Own part of client presentations including response to brief and key production meetings
  • Understand the client’s business, category and market trends
  • Ensure team are delivering timely and accurate reporting requirements

Commercial

  • Assist the Content Partnerships Director with monthly forecasting, invoicing and JDR tracking (including hour tracking and reporting by job and role);
  • Assist the Business Leader & Director to identify, create and convert strategically relevant revenue opportunities for MediaCom’s diversified services

 Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of project management or partnerships experience
  • Experience working with media networks, creative agencies and production companies
  • Understands the various platforms of television, digital and events and has created content for these mediums
  • Should have had a successful track record of project delivery targets in the content & creative space
