Ikon are looking for a Media Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with buying media for a mix of clients.

In this role you will have the opportunity to learn investment trading tools and methods as well as the media landscape across both offline and digital channels. You will assist in the execution of client paid media investment across a variety of client teams and get exposure to all stages of the process!

In three months:

  • Develop an understanding of Ikon, the key differentiators and position in Market
  • Develop an understanding of your client group
  • Develop relationships with your team and peers
  • Form a base knowledge of the media invoicing and campaign implementation process

In six months:

  • Become the master of reporting, drawing out valuable insights for the team and client
  • Become comfortable supporting your teams Media Executive & Manager with day to day campaign management and implementation

In twelve months:

  • Become the owner of your patch, running the day to day operations and supporting the team
  • Develop a greater understanding of marketing principles and the impact of paid media and campaign activity

What it takes:

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about the media industry
  • Eagerness to add value to the team and wider agency in business and in culture
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Degree in Communications, Media or similar is preferred
