As the Digital A&T Executive within Team Union, you demonstrate a passion for digital media and a solid understanding of the broader Australian media industry. Using Ikon’s suite of Tools and Dashboards, you will make data led decisions to help plan and implement campaigns that deliver optimal, accurate and cost-effective results for Bankwest. You will be executing the client’s paid digital media investment, embracing and championing Ikon’s dynamic trading ethos.

What’s your role -
In 3 months

  • Solid understanding of Union’s way of working, our process and network of WPP AUNZ partners
  • Establish relationships with all relevant media partners in market
  • Have a working knowledge of key digital media platforms (YouTube, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Campaign Manager) and assist with campaign launches and optimisation

In 6 months

  • Build strong relationships across client and Union team across Perth and Sydney
  • Lead and manage the planning, implementation and delivery of campaigns, providing ongoing proactive optimisation recommendations to clients
  • Develop of good understanding of your client’s marketing plans and objectives as well as the broader banking category

In 12 months:

  • Involvement in Union’s integrated end to end campaign development process; owning media planning, execution and post campaign analysis with Union partners and key clients
  • Execute negotiations on ad-hoc campaigns and assisted on major negotiations

What will help you succeed
Technical

  • Minimum 2 years digital media experience preferred
  • Degree qualified in business/marketing/communications or related fields desirable
  • Completion of MFA Digital Foundations 
  • Working knowledge of the Media Planning & Buying process
  • Facebook ads manager experience
  • Experience in utilising planning tools and ad-servers (Google Campaign Manager preferred)
  • Understanding of Media best practices
