This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to become part of the WPP Client Growth team. Based in London and New York, our team supports the Chief Client Officer to ensure WPP is the premium partner to our clients, proactively delivering transformation, growth and client satisfaction.

This role will provide a broad range of skills and a bird’s eye view of the most important shifts happening within the marketing and media industry. It’s an excellent opportunity to see a FTSE 100 company undergoing transformation, whilst working having access to senior WPP and agency Leaders.

What you'll be doing:

 Reporting into the Head of Client Experience, you will gain experience working with the broader Client Growth team on certain projects and in some instances, with the Global Client Leaders who lead our largest client accounts.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Researching and creating content for the Chief Client Officer and Client Growth team, including presentations for Exco, board & QRF meetings, preparation for speaking engagements, writing newsletters, discussion guides & playbooks
  • Supporting on the bi-monthly Global Client Status Report – providing the CEO and exco with a single, bi-monthly view of the strategic progress and momentum we are making towards our stretch goals across our global priority clients
  • Owning and project managing the WPP Living Case Studies - our intelligent gifting project, sent to our T100 clients, showcasing best-in-class creative work from across the network
  • Supporting on the Global Client Growth Plans, sharing notes and actions with WPP leadership
  • Co-organising the annual Growth Summit for our client leadership community (a 2-day event focused on accelerating growth across our largest clients and showcasing the best of WPP)
  • Supporting with our internal knowledge management platform
  • Helping to plan, package up and activate our inspirational thought leadership programme for clients
  • Managing contact lists (both for our client leader communities and key clients)
  • Supporting with comms and content for our GCL and KCL communities

 

What you'll need:

  • Able to work on multiple fast-paced projects and demonstrate good time management and detail focused skills
  • Curious about our business, enjoy learning about marketing and media, technology and creativity, and what happens behind the scenes to ensure clients receive best-in-class services
  • Naturally collaborative, working well within a team but also be able to work independently
  • Able to build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Able to be resourceful and think strategically and creatively
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willing to go the extra mile
